You have to make more videos with Christopher Hitchens. He is a great man and you are a great film maker.

I’m a person of religious conviction, but he has instilled in me huge theological doubts. To be honest, I’m not sure about anything anymore. I’ve grown up in a hugely conservative zeitgeist and somehow I feel like I’m traitorous when I question the beliefs that have been inculcated in me. Yet I suppose God would want people to rationalise their surroundings right?

@pololopo23 My good sir, I have never felt more close to a human person than right now. I’ll raise a glass of Johnnie Walker Black to you in tears. Thank you.

Only a REAL FOOL would claim there is no God! Man creates awesome skyscrapers, fake hearts, tunnels, vehicles etc.. If we are very imperfect then what more can God create THE UNIVERSE! You must accept Jesus Christ as your Savior to receive eternal rest in heaven! Simple! John 3:16 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him! Repent & accept Jesus Christ! Jesus Christ or HELL?!? Visit cbn. com

@jimu57 yep, that’s why. you’ve caught me… son do some learning. perhaps go to his wiki

  12. scifi75 says:

Can you imagine what kind of world we would have today without religion, if we thanked ourselves for our accomplishments; if we believed in our own being rather than thinking that we are flawed? We are creatures with the gift of imagination. We are explorers who do our best when we are challenged; when we push aside our fears and look into the unknown. Look up into a clear night sky and you will see our future. The stars are ours. The universe awaits us.

OH FUCK HES DEAD!! I knew it was coming but i only found out from this video today and it comes as a huge shock still… thank you chris for opening my mind, and giving me many arguments that arnt to harsh to my christian friends. i honestly would take the cancer from you and have it kill me if i could, you are still needed on the earth and by all the people in the world whether they know it or not.. this is why i am glad to apparently be going to hell, i will be able to talk to this great man

  14. eppej22 says:

@jimu57 Because his reasoning is sound, and he displays a respect for everyone else’s views. He neither denies nor acknowledges any God, he merely states that he feels that assuming that everything was made just for us is a bit arrogant.

  15. jimu57 says:

Why is that someone that doesnt believe in God and has a british accent and gift of gab, or babble, causes atheists to think he is a genius?????

  16. jimu57 says:

@davidtheterminator No, he knows very little but thinks he does. Or did that is.

  17. danrickle says:

    Thank God for Hitchens
